Chihuahuan Desert Garden

The Chihuahan Desert Garden at Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery contains some of the most drought-tolerant plants we grow.   This garden was planned as a showcase of plants able to survive on the natural precipitation of our region - aproximately 15" per year... quite dry!

Featured in this picture are: Wavyleaf Oak, Dwarf Baby Blue Rabbitbrush, Harriman's Yucca, and Fernbush.

Kendrick Lake Gardens
Located in Lakewood, Colorado are the beautiful Kendrick Lake Gardens. This demonstration garden features plants that are at durable, adaptable, and beautiful in a setting that suits their rugged character. Featured in this photo are: Fernbush, Bluestem Joint-fir, and Banana Yucca.

At the offices of Northern Colorado Water District are a collection of Xeriscape demonstration gardens that inspire us with their beauty, and remind us to be good stewards of our land and water. Featured here is a dramatic multi-stemmed specimen of our introduction: HOTWINGS® Tatarian Maple.
Rabbitbrush Designs - Cheyenne, Wyoming

At the Jonah Bank in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Rabbitbrush Designs created an artful landscape using a palette of drought tolerant and native plants.  Featured in this photo are Ponderosa Pine, Native Mountain Ash, and a wide assortment of ornamental grasses and perennials.
